Emily Hayes

I’ve been creating art ever since I was a child.

In 2020, like many others, I planted a vegetable garden in my backyard and I quickly fell in love with the world outside my door. I eagerly began creating habitat for wildlife with native plants and water sources.

My garden quickly became a source of never ending inspiration, not just for my photography, but also for my watercolor paintings. I am constantly captivated by the many birds, bugs, butterflies, and wildlife that visit my garden.

Ultimately, I hope my art encourages others to discover and fall in love with the nature in their own backyard.
